The Best Pre Race Dinner Near Daytona International Speedway
The Coke Zero Sugar 400 is the NASCAR Cup Series regular season finale. The race starts under the lights at 7:30 PM with the final places in The Chase still at stake.
Agave is far enough north of the Speedway corridor to offer free parking and a full sit down meal, yet close enough for an 18 minute drive to the track before race traffic. The kitchen opens at 11:00 AM and Saturday service runs until 10:00 PM.
Agave is a family owned Mexican restaurant and full cantina at 1474 W Granada Blvd #435 in Ormond Beach. It is an independent alternative to the packed chain restaurant corridor around the track, with a full menu, nightly happy hour, and enough variety for a mixed group.
Food That Works Before a Night at the Track
Start with Fresh Guacamole at $13.99, Super Nachos at $14.99, Agave Wings at $14.99, or the Agave Platter at $15.99 when the table wants to share. The kitchen cooks each order when it comes in, and the complete dine in menu is available before the race.
For dinner, Birria Tacos are $17.99, Tacos de Asada are $18.99, the Agave Burrito is $15.99, and Chicken or Steak Fajitas are $21.99. Seafood choices include Shrimp or Fish Tacos and Quesadilla de Mariscos. See every item and current price on the HTML menu.
The cantina pours house margaritas, the jalapeƱo margarita, sangria, domestic and imported drafts, and a full liquor selection. Nightly happy hour runs during the pre race dinner window.
Eat Early and Leave Room for Race Traffic
In normal traffic, Agave is about 18 minutes north of Daytona International Speedway. Race day traffic, parking lines, security, and the walk to your seats can add much more time. Agave does not control gate times or traffic conditions, so use the official event page and Speedway parking instructions when setting your departure.
Agave has free parking at the door in Ormond Towne Square. Meet your crew here, eat together, then take Nova Road or Clyde Morris Boulevard south toward the Speedway corridor. If you are coming from I-95, Agave is near Exit 268 on West Granada Boulevard.
Call Ahead With Your Group Size
Saturday is one of Daytona's busiest race days. Groups should call ahead at (386) 677-7779 with their size and planned arrival time. Walk ins are welcome, but eating early gives your crew more time to reach the grandstands.
Agave is open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Saturday. Call ahead rather than assuming a specific table or arrival time can be held during a busy race weekend.
